31/365 What is ICM?
ICM is an abbreviation for Intentional Camera Movement: a technique where the photographer intentionally moves the camera during exposure. This results in abstract and artistic images. I learned about ICM as a separate technique quite recently, although I have been quite actively involved in long exposure photography - I carry a tripod with me, freeze in the cold, get wet in the rain. Here I have it's a little easier, just grab the camera and start. With the modern level of stabilization, you can get a sharp picture with interesting effects. Like these signs from the facades of buildings on Alexanderplatz in Berlin.
