Note: I try to write every post in the language from scratch or at least to adapt the translation to the level that I speak in the current language. But I set me a goal to publish one post every day, and this one is pretty long. To keep the deadline, I decided to translate it with Deepl, so forgive me for any mistakes in translation.

The previous day was tense, and my body and soul needed rest. I woke up late - the sun was already high, shining brightly. Yesterday's fog dissipated in the darkness of the night, but left frost as a farewell, coloring the morning white.

I looked out the window and realized that I would have breakfast late this Sunday. Soon the sun will warm the streets and houses, and the white cover will disappear. After taking a couple of photos for the "View from the window" project, I put the camera in my backpack and went out to collect the melting moments of the morning.

When I went out the door, I had to make a quick choice. Any place within walking distance will offer endless interesting shots. You could even limit yourself to a couple of shots of freezing vegetation two steps from home.

After some hesitation, I decided to go to Alt-Marzahn village, to the mill. I wanted to check out a few new points, diversify the endless series of shots with a new perspective. The blinding sun behind the tree trunk and the shrub covered with crystals of water gave me what I was looking for.

The frozen berries added bright colors to this series.

From this point, I also often photograph the mill, but today the focus is on the chain-link fence.

I walked around the hill with the mill and came to the slope where I met the hedgehog, that was lost in the fog. The fog has gone, but the bush, very conditionally resembling a hedgehog, remained in the company of trees by the road.

Ignoring the bush and trees, the mill silently looked towards the city from the top of the hill. The miller rarely turns it in the other direction.

Of course, I also visited another favorite shooting point - the green tractor in the open-air museum is wintering surrounded by fruit trees.

I think, I have never photographed it in close-up. It's time to correct this oversight and show it to you in all its glory.

One should not touch such a steering wheel without gloves.

This lantern will never light up again.

On the way back, I walked around the hill again and took a picture of the view of the village street.

Details of a frosty but gradually warming morning.

On the same slope, slightly to the side, horses are grazing today. They often have to share the slope with donkeys, but today is the day of Shetland ponies.

Brunette and blonde.

A little over a year ago, this cute pony made it to the Flickr. I got a minute of local fame. This spurred my motivation to spend more time on photography: to shoot more and publish more.

This was the last photo in this post, but for my most patient and loyal readers, I posted a few shots Patreon. Not because they are better, but simply because I couldn't figure out how to better fit them into the narrative. By the way, I will be happy to receive any advice and suggestions for improving the content. Write in the comments.
