1928 in soviet Russia two young russian writers Ilya Ilf and Yevgeny Petrov wrote a novel "12 chairs". The novel tells the story of a former nobleman Ippolit Matveyevich Vorobyaninov who lost his family jewels during the Russian Revolution. A charmant con-man named Ostap Bender convinces him to go looking for the treasure. The novel was a great success and was adapted into a movie in 1971.

In 1999 the American TV channel Fox aired the first episode of the animated series "Futurama". The series was created by Matt Groening, the creator of "The Simpsons". The series tells the story of a pizza delivery boy named Philip J. Fry who is cryogenically frozen and wakes up in the year 3000. In the future, he works for an interplanetary delivery service and has many adventures with his friends, including a robot named Bender Rodriguez.

Today I present you a crossover of these two stories. The robot Bender as Ostap Bender and his girlfriend as Ellochka im the scene from the novell, where Bender tries to get the only chair that Ellochka has in her apartment. Ostap hopes, this is the one of the chairs, where the lost jewels supposed to be hidden. Will he have luck?
